Guaranteed power supply inverters are designed for uninterruptible supply of critical equipment in the industry and the energy sector, operating in UPS or drive applications which, for technological reasons, require continuity of power supply. They have high stability and low distortion of the output voltage, which is why they may also be used as systems separating critical receivers from the power network interference. They operate through a substation battery circuit of the voltage of 110 V DC and 220 V DC or can constitute completely independent units with their own input rectifiers and battery packs.
The FPS inverters are power electronics devices made using the MOSFET transistor technology, transforming direct voltage to variable sinusoidal voltage with values in the range of 100÷240 V and frequency of 50/60 Hz.
They work with single-phase receivers that require a reliable and uninterruptible power supply with stable parameters. They have a built-in DC/DC converter providing galvanic isolation between the DC source input and output. Because of the option of parallel operation it is possible to connect the outputs of several inverters in order to increase power or build systems operating in redundancy. Depending on their versions, inverters may be equipped with a built-in bypass that constantly switches the receivers power supply circuit in case of a loss of voltage, overload, short-circuit or damage to the inverter. They can also work with external contactless STS switches.
